Breast Augmentation
A 47-year-old mother of 2 breastfed children was bothered by “flappy” breasts after initial breast augmentation with saline implants 22 years ago, followed by removal of the implants due to rupture. She was also bothered by a “roll” of tissue along her lower abdominal wall. She underwent extended abdominoplasty with rectus muscle plication, power-assisted liposuction of the flanks, and bilateral breast augmentation using smooth silicone soft touch “gummier” 325cc implants placed under the muscle with mastopexy. Her off-center belly button remains a bit off-center and her natural breast asymmetry is improved.
