Jamie — Patient Care Coordinator
Jamie serves as Patient Care Coordinator and has a personal passion for first-class service. She has 8 years of dedication to helping patients reach their cosmetic goals. She will work with you to schedule your consultation, answer any questions that you may have about your procedure, as well as schedule your procedure for a time that is convenient for you. Jamie enjoys helping you along the way and being your biggest fan during your journey.
Outside of work, Jamie enjoys spending time with her children and their 2 Goldendoodles (Honey and Maple.) You can typically find her on the weekends at a Cheer Competition or sporting event cheering on her favorite teams.
Marianita Vela, PA-C — Physician Assistant
We’re proud to have Certified Physician Assistant Marianita “Mari” Vela, PA-C on our team at Kirby Plastic Surgery. In addition to assisting Dr. Kirby and providing exceptional care to patients throughout their plastic surgery journey, Mari is highly experienced in the latest non-surgical aesthetic treatments and technologies and helps our medical spa patients achieve beautiful outcomes with injectables, lasers treatments, and more.
We are proud to have Mari on our team at Kirby Plastic Surgery. From the moment she first meets a patient, she works to ensure a one-of-a-kind experience that exceeds industry standards.
Mari earned her first Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Texas State University in San Marcos, where she also minored in Health and Wellness Promotion. She then obtained a second Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas – Pan American in Edinburg, TX. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and is a Texas Licensed Physician Assistant.
Mari is recognized as a fellow member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Association of Plastic Surgery Physician Assistants, and the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants. In 2022, Mari was inducted as an Allergan Medical Institute CoolSculpting Faculty Trainer.
Delaney Papin, DNP, APRN, FNP-C
Delaney earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) and Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degrees from Texas Christian University, where she was awarded multiple honors. Originally from Naperville, Illinois, her love for aesthetics started as a teenager when she began working for her mother, who is a board-certified dermatologist.
Delaney’s approach to patient care in plastic surgery is rooted in a commitment to enhancing natural beauty through individualized treatment plans. She believes in building trust with her patients by listening to their goals and concerns, thoroughly educating them on their options, and involving them in the decision-making process. Delaney combines a detail-oriented, compassionate approach with cutting-edge techniques to achieve natural and balanced results. She emphasizes patient safety, comfort, and satisfaction at every stage, ensuring an experience that aligns with each patient’s unique aesthetic vision.
Her holistic and patient-centered philosophy is shaped by her clinical background, with expertise in pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care. She is also highly skilled in ZO Skin Health protocols, leveraging her knowledge to deliver comprehensive skincare solutions that complement and enhance aesthetic treatments. Committed to lifelong learning, Delaney continually seeks opportunities to expand her skillset and knowledge in order to provide the most up-to-date and evidence-based care for her patients.
Delaney is an active member of the Fort Worth Region Nurse Practitioners, the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Sigma Theta Tau International Nursing Society, and The Aesthetic Society.
In her spare time, Delaney loves to work out at Orangetheory, travel, and spend time with family and friends.
